Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis experience required. License: Registered Nurse (RN) required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. CNN (Certified Nephrology Nurse) preferred. Must-Have: Candidates must be willing to float to different areas as needed. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Candidates must have no history of license violations. Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Dialysis. The nurse will provide care to patients undergoing hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. The nurse will work a day shift structure, approximately three 12-hour shifts per week. The unit handles high-acuity patients, with specific patient ratios. The role includes administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing dialysis-related procedures. The nurse will assess and document patient conditions accurately. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team is essential to ensure comprehensive patient care. Candidates must demonstrate competency in dialysis procedures and dysrhythmia management. Bilingual capabilities and experience with Epic electronic charting systems are preferred. This role involves working with specialized dialysis equipment and maintaining safety protocols. Flexibility in work hours may be needed based on patient population and unit demands.
