Step into an impactful role serving students as an Educational Diagnostician in a dynamic school setting near Fort Worth, TX! This full-time, contract opportunity spans the entire 2026-2027 academic year (August 10, 2026 – May 21, 2027) and involves supporting student success across two schools within the district. As an itinerant specialist, you'll provide essential evaluation services, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and make a direct difference for learners from diverse backgrounds.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Special Education or closely related field
• Valid Texas classroom teaching certificate
• State of Texas certification as an Educational Diagnostician (or ability to pass exam)
• At least three years of full-time, school-based teaching experience
• Previous experience in a school-based diagnostician position required
• Strong skills in student assessment, eligibility determinations, and report writing
• Willingness to travel between assigned campuses
• Successful completion of fingerprinting and district credentialing processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer educational evaluations for students, including formal and informal assessments
• Compile and interpret data to create comprehensive diagnostic reports
• Participate actively in ARD/IEP meetings, presenting findings to parents and team members
• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to develop effective educational plans
• Maintain detailed records and meet all state and district guidelines for compliance
• Support the academic and emotional needs of students through tailored recommendations
