Exciting Opportunity for a Passionate Registered Dietitian! Job Description:
- Join our dynamic team as a Registered Dietitian providing clinical nutrition services in a vibrant long-term care and assisted living setting.
- Work 40 hours per week with flexible shifts (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM).
- Collaborate across various areas, including:
- Nursing home and assisted living programs
- Hospital
- Cardiac rehab
- Cancer center
- Outpatients
- Float to support vacation coverage at nearby medical facilities as needed.
- Work under the supervision of the AVP of Support and Professional Services to ensure the highest quality nutritional care.
- Engage with residents and patients to tailor nutritional care plans that meet their unique needs.
- Provide clinical support and guidance to foodservice employees to enhance meal preparation and delivery.
- Stay current with regulations from The Joint Commission, New York State Department of Health, CMS, and other relevant agencies.
- Act as a vital liaison between healthcare providers, nursing staff, and foodservice teams to optimize nutrition care and patient satisfaction.
- Preferred qualification: Master's Degree in a related field.
