About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Pediatric Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: South Carolina RN License preferred, pending applications accepted Certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS, CCI with RCIS/RCES preferred, ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) acceptable Must-Have: Experience in Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab preferred EP experience preferred Description: Position available for a Cath Lab Tech in a pediatric setting. Shifts are days from 07:00 to 15:30. On-call requirement is 8-10 shifts per month, which includes weekend coverage. Types of cases preferred include pediatric/adult transplant, R/L biopsy, balloon and stent placement, and valve placement. Experience in interventional radiology is preferred. There are two cath lab rooms available. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. National certifications are required, including PALS, BLS, ACLS, and others based on experience qualifications. A radiation badge must be provided. Candidates should be open to accommodating a block schedule at the manager's discretion. Local candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis. All requested time off must be included at the time of submission. Hurricane season is from June to November, and employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during this time. Candidates should be aware of the necessity to adapt to hospital policies and procedures regarding patient care. This facility is a Level I Trauma Center and a teaching facility with a focus on congenital heart patients.
