The unit consists of an ICU, a CMU, and a medical-surgical unit, in addition to an emergency department. Patient ratios are not applicable. The unit is staffed with secretaries and technicians as needed. Equipment includes PB840s, 980s, Phillips V60s, and Hamilton C-1s. Documentation is managed through a specific system. Scheduling requirements include three 12-hour shifts and every other weekend. Floating policy is not applicable. Patient experience requirements are defined by hospital specifics. The facility is certified as a Level 3 trauma center, is stroke-ready, and recognized as a chest pain center. A variety of outdoor activities are available in the surrounding area.
