Field Service Technician

Job Title

Location: Stone Mountain, GA

Duration: 4 Months

7am-5:30pm, Monday-Thursday

OT on Fridays or rain make-up days

Flexible work locations within Stone Mountain or other areas in Georgia

Responsibilities

Execute field service activities at customer sites safely and efficiently.

Create and maintain a safe working environment and culture within the organization.

Take care of company property.

Troubleshoot systems for mechanical and electrical equipment conditions.

Identify and remedy safety issues in both company and customer-owned equipment.

Directly interface with customers, potentially at multiple sites with various technologies.

Serve as the first line of technical service support, being customer-facing and highly utilized.

Be accountable to customers for the operation and repair of systems.

Requirements

Ability to obtain a TWIC card.

Technical experience.

Experience with Microsoft Office, including smart devices.

Customer service experience.

Demonstrate critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.

Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see constantly.

Ability to walk, write, and type frequently.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

Must be able to climb and descend stairs, bend, carry, reach, push, and pull occasionally.

Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.

May work indoors and outdoors as needed, with exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees.

May work in areas where noise level requires hearing protection.

May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt, with work surfaces including concrete.

Must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone.

Some travel to other locations, meetings, and/or seminars is required.

Minimum 1 year of experience.

Preferred Skills

Experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

Strong customer service orientation.
