About the Position

We are looking for a Customer Service Specialist to be responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional image as part of the company team.

You will be working at our Butte, MT location and reporting to the Regional Plant Manager, focusing on these key responsibilities: 

• Assist in inventory management of products with month-end count, ordering, shipping and receiving to other plants and non-local customers
• Organize deliveries.
• Operate phone system, communicating with customers in a friendly and professional manner. 
• Greet and assist walk-in customers or suppliers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Perform data entry of delivery tickets, work orders and other account information as needed.
• Perform various clerical functions, including copying, printing, filing, sending/receiving/distributing documents. 
• Accept and process payments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft products, and the ability to learn new programs.
• Recent telephone/receptionist and or customer service experience.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Willing to be on-call on a rotating schedule once fully trained.
• Ability to sit for long periods.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.
• Work in moderate noise levels.
• Work with minimum supervision.
