The opportunities are endless.**Irrigation Technician****Position Summary**The Irrigation Crew Lead is responsible for overseeing and participating in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial irrigation systems. This position leads a crew in daily operations, ensures quality workmanship, maintains safety standards, and promotes efficiency and productivity on all job sites.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Supervise and lead irrigation crew members on daily job assignments* Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems, including controllers, valves, sprinkler heads, drip systems, and pumps* Read and interpret irrigation plans and blueprints* Ensure proper system programming and water management practices* Perform seasonal services such as system start-ups, winterizations, and inspections* Train and mentor crew members on proper installation techniques and safety procedures* Monitor job progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget* Maintain accurate job records, material usage, and daily reports* Communicate effectively with management, clients, and team members* Enforce company safety policies and ensure proper use of PPE* Operate company vehicles, trailers, and equipment safely**Qualifications*** 3+ years of irrigation installation and repair experience* Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience preferred* Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques* Ability to read blueprints and irrigation layouts* Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record* Ability to operate trenchers, pipe pullers, and other equipment* Strong communication and organizational skills* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions* Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly**Physical Requirements*** Prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and digging* Ability to work in hot, cold, and wet conditions* Ability to lift and carry irrigation materials and equipment**Work Schedule*** Full-time position* Overtime and weekend work may be required during peak season**Pay Transparency**Mariani Enterprises LLC is committed to pay transparency and equity among all employees and provides employees with an environment where pay transparency and dialogue on compensation are allowed.
