Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat adults requiring physical therapy to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
• Conduct therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and manual therapy as appropriate
• Reassess patients regularly and adjust plans to achieve goals
• Document care provided and communicate results to the care team
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to optimize patient outcomes
• Ensure patient safety, proper body mechanics, and infection control during sessions

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work in a post-acute rehabilitation setting with adult patients
