Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team at Enrichment Oasis. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting individuals with disabilities in a day support setting, promoting independence, dignity, community engagement, and an enhanced quality of life.Responsibilities:Provide individualized support to participants during day program activities, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.Assist individuals with daily living skills such as personal hygiene, communication, and self-care while encouraging independence and choice.Support the implementation of individualized service plans (ISPs) and help participants work toward their personal goals.Facilitate and actively engage participants in structured activities including life skills training, recreational activities, and community outings.Monitor participants’ well-being and promptly report any concerns or changes to supervisors.Encourage social interaction and build positive relationships among participants to foster a supportive environment.Assist with behavior support strategies and promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive setting.Ensure a clean, organized, and safe program environment in accordance with health and safety standards.Provide transportation support for community-based activities and outings, as needed.Communicate effectively with team members, families, and caregivers to support continuity of care.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (required)Experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities (preferred)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work as part of a team in a structured day program settingValid driver’s license (preferred)Certification in CPR and DSPBenefits:Paid orientationPaid trainingWork Location: In person
