Job Summary:

Provides specialized speech-language pathology services to improve patients swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities. Leads the development and implementation of treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients communication, swallowing, and cognitive functions to develop personalized treatment plans.
  
  
• 
  Implement therapy techniques aimed at enhancing understanding, speech clarity, and swallowing safety.
  
  
• 
  Lead, guide, and monitor the delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services in accordance with regulations and facility policies.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Document assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans accurately and maintain detailed patient records.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal healthcare standards and licensing requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold at least 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  
  
• 
  Possess a valid Texas state license or be licensed via compact credentials.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate clinical proficiency in speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapies.
  
  
• 
  Be knowledgeable about regulations governing speech therapy services in healthcare settings.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong communication and patient management skills.
