Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health. Responsibilities Assemble and deliver patient meal trays, including regular and modified diets. Follow color-coded menus and diet guidelines to ensure safe, accurate meals. Work as part of a team on the tray line to keep meal service running smoothly. Prepare and deliver nourishments and tube feedings according to standard procedures. Assemble and deliver late trays as needed. Stock, organize, and restock food and supplies throughout meal service. Assist with dish room duties, sanitation, and general kitchen support. Help in other areas of the department as needed (cafeteria, salads, pots & pans). Communicate food service concerns with kitchen leads, dietitians, and management. Qualifications Experience Previous food service experience preferred Ability to understand oral and written instructions Must speak, read, and understand English Certification Must obtain Food Handler Certificate within 60 days of hire.
