Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | 36 hours weekly guaranteed | Every third weekend and possible holidays required | Projected Start: September 14, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient respiratory therapy services across all patient age groups, including pediatric patients in the ER setting
• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions in an inpatient environment
• Operate and manage respiratory therapy equipment in accordance with facility protocols
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical records system
• Adhere to facility dress code policy, including hunter green scrubs
• Demonstrate willingness to pick up additional shifts for vacation coverage and staffing needs on days or nights

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia Respiratory Therapy license (or documented license status required at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience with all age groups, including pediatrics
• Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current PALS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current NRP certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a pediatric emergency room setting
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system
