Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Ellijay, Georgia

Key Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Active state licensure for SLP practice. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) strongly preferred. Experience working with pediatrics in educational or healthcare settings. Solid understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and school-based documentation. Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. What You’ll Do: Deliver in-person speech and language therapy to students across a range of ages and needs. Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress. Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support student growth. Document sessions and maintain compliance with school and federal guidelines. Educate families and staff to facilitate carryover of strategies outside of therapy.
