This role requires strong organizational skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The Staff Accountant will play a key role in the upcoming point-of-sale (POS) system upgrade, as the transition will directly affect several of this role's core processes.Accounts Receivable & Fleet BillingManage all accounts receivable accounting, including invoicing, application of payments, and account maintenanceProcess and manage billing for fleet accountsPerform payment reconciliation across AR accountsPrepare and distribute customer statementsManage collections activity, including following up on past-due accounts and resolving billing disputesCash & BankingPerform daily/weekly cash reconciliation across all store locationsPerform credit card reconciliation and research discrepanciesManage banking processes including Positive Pay and ACH filtersOrdering of banking supplies for new and existing sitesSet up banking for new site locationsMonth-End ClosePrepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close processComplete account reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accountsSupport timely and accurate close in coordination with the broader accounting teamPOS System UpgradeServe as a key accounting team contributor during the upcoming POS system upgradeHelp evaluate and adjust AR, cash, and reconciliation processes to align with the new systemTest new workflows and identify process changes needed as a result of the upgradeQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent professional experiencePrior experience in accounts receivable, billing, and/or reconciliation preferredStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, and formula-driven analysis)Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-throughComfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentAdaptable and open to process change, particularly through system transitionsStrong communication skills, including comfort with collection-related conversationsExperience with Sage Intacct or similar accounting software a plusExpress Wash Concepts provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, or genetics. #J-18808-Ljbffr
