Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of K-6th grade students by providing expert support to a specialized caseload of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a full-time contract role. This position, based near Naperville, IL, is perfect for a passionate Speech Language Pathologist eager to work in a supportive, collaborative school environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active IL SLP-CCC credential
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Background working with pediatric or school-based populations
• Strong understanding of working with K-6th grade students, particularly children with autism
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments, develop personalized intervention strategies, and deliver speech-language therapy for students on your caseload
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and IEPs
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide guidance and recommendations for students’ speech and language needs
• Foster a supportive learning environment, helping students build confidence in their communication skills
