Contract Specialist II

Connexus is hiring a Contract Specialist II to provide cradle-to-grave acquisition support to a federal civilian agency's Office of Acquisition Services. You will perform the full range of pre-award and post-award contracting actions, including business and pricing analysis of offers and quotes. The position is on-site in Atlanta, GA and is contingent on contract award (anticipated period of performance: one base year plus option years).

Responsibilities:

Perform cradle-to-grave contracting: acquisition planning, solicitation development, evaluation, award, administration, and closeout.
Conduct analyses of business elements and pricing information of offers/quotes (price/cost analysis).
Prepare and review contract documentation in accordance with the FAR and applicable agency supplements.
Track milestones, support corrective actions, and ensure timely, compliant deliverables.
Maintain Public Trust suitability and complete required agency security training.

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.
At least five (5) years of experience in cradle-to-grave contracting.
Current or previous FAC-C certification (or civilian equivalent) required.
U.S. citizen able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background investigation.
Able to work on-site in Atlanta, GA.

Preferred: Previous ICE (Integrated Contracts Expert) experience.
