THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE

* Position is located at corporate offices in Bolingbrook, IL (Hybrid work schedule – approx. 6 days in office per month) This role will play a pivotal role in building and driving critical People Success strategic planning processes and supporting large-scale enterprise initiatives as part of Ulta Beauty’s People Success Strategy & Innovation team. This role is responsible for driving coordinated execution of the most critical People Success initiatives, to deliver on Ulta Beauty’s strategic and financial objectives, collaborating closely with the senior People Success leadership team, PS Centers of Excellence, and key cross-functional stakeholders, including HRIT. The Sr. Project Manager, People Success Strategy & Innovation must demonstrate a critical blend of both strong strategic management and cross-functional leadership capabilities and a strong track record of successful execution of complex initiatives. The ability to build effective yet simple business processes, influence, advise and manage multiple cross-functional players across levels is critical.

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:

Project manage the execution of large scale, highly complex People Success initiatives, serving as a strategic and executional partner to PS senior leadership. Drive strategic execution, program management, integration and change management in support of strategic projects across the People Success organization. Create and facilitate senior leader review mechanisms of People Success strategic goals and initiatives Lead the identification of and the portfolio management of People Success’s strategic and innovation projects Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in defining and tracking project goals, deliverables, milestones, resources, budget and schedule. Identify and manage critical interdependencies, determine areas of risk, and provide the level of executional leadership to successfully deliver projects. Support prioritizingof workstreams and track progress against objectives. Provide timely communications to project leadership and key stakeholders on overall status and roadmap for key strategic programs. Support development of project management and change management capability in People Success and in alignment with enterprise best practices, project governance frameworks and processes and toolkits which will be applied throughout the organization. Support change management efforts at Ulta Beauty on critical complex programs and initiatives, designing and executing change strategies within and across key enterprise initiatives

THE ESSENTIALS OF SUCCESS

Bachelor’s degree preferred; MBA a plus. 7+ years of experience in project delivery excellence, HR domain knowledge, change management and/or strategic project planning & execution Demonstrated experience leading teams to execute highly complex initiatives of significant scope, scale and risk. Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and technical fluency. Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and apply strategic frameworks to drive alignment and decision-making. Highly collaborative with track record of effective cross-functional leadership and proven ability to influence at all levels. Enterprise thinker with ability to ‘connect the dots.’ Bias for action and execution; Results-oriented. Excellent time management, planning, project management and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, including ability to share ideas and information across diverse audiences to drive to business decisions. Ability to synthesize clearly and simplify the complex. Comfort with ambiguity and ability to shape, elevate and move planning forward. Highest level of integrity and good judgment. Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) preferred. Lean Six Sigma certification preferred. Travel may be required ( The pay range for this position is $119,300.00 - $158,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
