Concrete Superintendent

As a Concrete Superintendent at Thompson, your primary responsibility will be to manage on-site concrete operations by directing self-performed crews, subcontractors, and other project personnel. Typical duties include Directing and leading multiple crews spread across different projects Traveling to job sites and ensuring project deadlines are being met Conducting regular inspections of work to ensure quality standards are met Developing cost‑effective plans and timelines for project completion Creating budgets and proposals for material, equipment and labor force Obtaining proper permits, licenses, and other important documentation Working with Project Engineers to submit invoices, warranties & waivers Identifying and addressing any and all safety violations or deficiencies Providing regular updates to support staff and company leadership Generating work schedules for crew members and subcontractors Conducting daily meetings with Foremen and other Project Leaders Conducting post‑project evaluations to identify lessons learned for the future Requirements A minimum of 3‑5 years of project management experience (or relevant degree) Must have structural and vertical concrete experience Excellent verbal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to operate various pieces of construction equipment OSHA 30 Certification (will train, if necessary) CPR & First Aid Certification (will train, if necessary) Shift Details 1st Shift (work hours vary, depending on project) Benefits Ask about our comprehensive benefits package that includes an amazing Employee Stock Ownership Program!
