REGISTRAR - WESTLAKE FREESTANDING EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

Responsibilities This opportunity is a per diem position at Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida. The role involves greeting, collecting, and processing all incoming patient information to ensure accurate demographic data, verifying reimbursement, maintaining records, and following hospital policies. The registrant will also recognize signs and symptoms of stroke, initiate a stroke alert, and complete full registration upon patient arrival. The position requires willingness to be cross‑trained and can float to other areas or departments as needed. Treat everyone as a guest by making a good first impression, anticipating needs, and displaying service recovery skills. Qualifications High School or GED Diploma Minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care facility or related environment preferred. Willingness to be cross‑trained in other areas (Admitting, Business Office, ER) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail‑oriented and organizational skills required.
