RN - Pediatric

Pediatric Hospice and Home Health RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule (08:00 - 17:00).

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a pediatric hospice and home health position. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge and experience in caring for pediatric patients in a hospice setting, providing medical and emotional support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients in hospice and home health environments.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and manage patient care effectively.
• Educate families on care procedures and resources available.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided in the charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Previous experience in pediatric hospice and home health care required.
• Valid RN license; both temporary and pending licenses accepted.
• 2 supervisory references required.
• Experience with Community Hospital or HomeCare HomeBase charting system preferred.
