Quality Inspector

Posted on: 5/27/2026 - Application Deadline: - The Quality Assembler is responsible for the Final Inspection of wheelchairs. Using technical drawings and Work Instructions, the Quality Assembler ensures that each chair is built correctly. The role also acts as a liaison between the Quality team and the Area Supervisor. Teamwork and collaboration with Engineering, QA, R&D, and other groups are necessary. Adherence to all safety practices and company policies is required. Key Tasks Physically and visually inspect chairs for proper assembly and function. Partner with engineering and product development teams to understand customer specifications. Communicate non-conformances to operators, supervisors, and managers. Act as a liaison between assembly and other staff. Flex into rework and assembly roles as needed. Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards, regulatory compliance, and company policies. Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality capability of assembly operations. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Previous manufacturing or quality experience desired. Working knowledge of assembly and modification processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and specifications. Familiarity with adaptive technology, mobility equipment, or medical device standards desired. Proven ability to coach and guide people to improve standards of work.
