Director of Business Development
COMPANY PROFILE:
Our client is a very progressive Design/Build/Construction Management with multiple offices located in Eastern South Dakota. They have been in the business for over 70 years and have an established niche market. This family focused business is one of the premier build companies to work for with competitive salaries and an excellent benefits package.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
- Report to CEO.
- Drive new business opportunities by developing and maintaining relationships with commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new projects through strategic networking, prospecting, and client engagement.
- Collaborate with operations and project teams to develop competitive proposals, budgets, and client solutions.
- Build long-term partnerships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, and industry stakeholders.
- Monitor market activity, industry trends, and competitive opportunities to support continued business growth.
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and community organizations to strengthen market presence.
- Leverage proven sales experience and working knowledge of construction methods, project delivery, and estimating processes to support revenue growth.
Job Requirements
BACKGROUND PROFILE:• 5+ Years Sales Experience.
• Previous Experience in Construction, Engineering, Building Materials, or Related Industry-preferred.
• Strong Communication and Relationship Skills
