Research Senior Associate - Comprehensive Cancer Center

Responsibilities collaborate with Principal Investigator (PI) to develop, manage and implement research projects; design and conduct complex experiments utilizing cell lines and organoid models; plan and execute advanced molecular biological and biochemical procedures such as cell and organoid culture, realtime PCR, immunofluorescence, immunoblot, ELISA, and cloning techniques; analyze and evaluate experimental data; develop and implements new or revised research methods; assist PI in research & development efforts of new research projects; plan and write abstracts and manuscripts for publication in scientific journals; attend and present research results at national scientific conferences and workshops; actively contribute to developing, writing, editing and critiquing research grant proposals; oversee appropriate maintenance of laboratory equipment and purchasing of reagents; and implement laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safety Manual and ensure compliance to local, state and federal laboratory guidelines. Education/Experience Master's Degree or equivalent experience required; 3 years of relevant experience required with Bachelor's Degree, or 1 year of relevant experience required with Master's Degree.PhD preferred Function: Research and Scholarship Sub Function: Research Career Band: Individual Contributor - Specialized Career Level: S2 Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
