Clinical Specialist I, CPT - Tampa, FL

Abbott seeks a Clinical Specialist I to provide technical and clinical support for chronic pain therapy products in the Tampa, Florida area. The role involves collaborating with territory managers, conducting customer training, managing programming support, and building relationships with healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, clinical, and programming support primarily to 1-2 territory managers
• Conduct customer training, educational in-services, and technical troubleshooting on Abbott chronic pain therapy products
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and customers within assigned geography
• Develop sales strategies for capital equipment opportunities and monitor competitor activity within accounts
• Provide after-hours call support and assist with sales activities as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or related field, or equivalent education and work experience
• 1-2 years of work experience, preferably in clinical settings with patient interaction
• Strong clinical skills and ability to communicate chronic pain therapy data
• Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills across multiple levels
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in unpredictable schedules with tight deadlines
• Capability to work independently and as a team member in fast-paced, matrixed environments
