Details Hospital-based sonography unit with 4 rooms and 4 machines Caseload of 12-15 cases per tech per day Pediatric patient population with a high volume of abdominal/stomach cases Uses Epic EMR 12-hour shifts, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 0700-1930 Every weekend schedule required, with flexibility to pick up additional shifts if offered Holiday coverage worked into the schedule No on-call requirements Floats as needed to Inova Alexandria Hospital offsite locations Requirements Current BLS certification (AHA) ARDMS certification required License required if applicable Minimum 2 years of sonography experience Must be able to scan pediatric patients, including frequent abdominal cases Additional Information One week of floor orientation provided Black scrubs required 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates accepted at a lower rate Former permanent employees may return 12 months after their last worked shift American Traveler Job ID #P-773203.
