Opportunity Overview Establish or transition into an independently operated medical practice supported by MedCBO’s administrative infrastructure. Own and operate your own practice entity while MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support services. Practice may be started in a preferred market, subject to state licensure and regulatory requirements. Physician retains full clinical authority, decision‑making, and ownership of the medical practice. Physician Responsibilities Provide patient care within the scope of your specialty. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Work with MedCBO to coordinate payer credentialing and enrollment as required. Determine clinical services offered and manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination and legal support. Billing and collections management; payer contract negotiation. Financial infrastructure and reporting; practice financial infrastructure. Operational workflows and staffing systems; HR administration and compliance support. Technology platform and implementation, including EHR and telehealth systems. Supply‑chain and vendor coordination. Requirements MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is generated by the physician‑owned practice. Financial outcomes vary based on specialty scope, services offered, payer mix, physician activity, and local market conditions.
