ELM Construction Services Inc. is looking for a motivated  Sales Representative / Project Manager to join our team and help grow our home improvement business throughout the Portland and Salem metro areas.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, building relationships, selling quality home improvement projects, and helping manage those projects from the initial sale through completion.

You’ll meet with  warm, qualified leads , understand the customer’s needs, recommend solutions, close the sale, and then help coordinate communication between the customer and production team.

What You’ll Do

• Meet with customers at scheduled appointments and understand their home improvement needs
• Build rapport and establish strong customer relationships
• Present home improvement solutions and close projects
• Negotiate agreements and secure new business
• Drive to customer appointments throughout the Portland and Salem metro areas
• Keep the company informed about sales activity and customer progress
• Coordinate communication between customers and the production team after a project is sold
• Assist with project management and help ensure projects stay organized
• Make periodic project site visits and spot checks
• Help plan work and organize resources
• Create realistic project timelines
• Communicate with customers throughout the project
• Help collect project payments
• Generate revenue and contribute to company growth

What We’re Looking For

• Sales, customer service, construction, or home improvement experience is a plus
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Comfortable meeting customers in person and discussing their needs
• Ability to confidently present solutions and close sales
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your daily schedule
• Comfortable driving to customer appointments and project locations
• Professional, dependable, and customer focused
• Willingness to learn the company's products, services, and sales process

Training Provided

You do not need to know everything on day one. ELM Construction Services provides  training in both the office and field to help you understand the sales process, products, and project management responsibilities.
