Manufacturing Engineer

Owning the engineering side of new program introduction, the full-time remote NPI/Manufacturing Engineer will manage the transition from prototype to production, overseeing design-for-manufacture reviews, first-article inspection planning, and configuration control. Key responsibilities Own the NPI funnel from RFQ to production, serving as the technical owner on every program Develop and implement First Article Inspection processes and qualification protocols for parts moving to production Enforce rigorous configuration and revision control, ensuring alignment between design, supplier, and production outputs Required qualifications 6+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering, NPI, or production engineering experience Experience running a complete NPI program from DFM through PPAP/FAI to ramp-up Proficiency in configuration control and revision management Deep understanding of FAI, control plans, inspection plans, and quality protocols (AS9102 / PPAP / ISIR) Exposure to multiple manufacturing processes including CNC machining, sheet metal, and injection molding
