Operating Room RN 3x12 Days 9a or 9p OR 11a-11p, On Call. Start date: Orientation held every other week on Friday. Ratios: Average daily census is 22 cases. Years of experience required: 2 years RN experience; 1 year of in-specialty experience. First-timers accepted: Yes if experience requirement met. Weekend required: Yes. Certifications required: BLS. Call requirement: 1 day of call per week; 1-2 weekend per 4-5 week schedule (spread out). Special requirements: Circulate and scrub experience; cardiac and general surgery, vascular, thoracic, robotics, proficient at vein harvesting and radial artery harvesting. Must be proficient in the following skills: vascular (including AV fistulas/grafts, aortic surgeries/bypasses, femoral to popliteal or distal bypasses, carotids, embolectomies), ortho (arthroscopies and total joints), general (including colorectal/colon resections, laparoscopic assisted surgeries, whipples, liver resections, thyroids, mastectomies), ENT (trachs, laryngectomies, radical neck dissections), urology (cystectomies, nephrectomies, prostatectomies, various implants, cysto related procedures), robotics (gyn, colorectal, hernias, lap nissens), GYN (abdominal/vaginal hysterectomies, posterior/anterior repairs).

Submission requirements: Perm employees cannot return to CAMC as a traveler for 2 years after last day worked perm. Flu shot: Please do not send anyone who refuses flu shot without medical proof. CAMC requires all personnel take flu vaccine unless they have allergy documented by an allergist or physician record. CAMC flu season is October 1st - March 31st. Not required outside of that window. Covid vaccine not required. One PDF must contain: candidate profile (work history), specialty specific skills checklist, min. 2 Mgr/Charge references (within past 2yrs.), RN Lic. verification (NURSYs pulled within 2 days of sub date clean lic. required hits submitted for case-by-case basis approval), driver's license, SSN.
