The clinic is designed to support a collaborative team culture, where licensed professionals can communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Counselors will have access to the latest tools and technologies to enhance their practice, including an electronic medical records (EMR) system. Deliver evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy. Maintain meticulous clinical records that adhere to ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring the privacy and security of client information. Stay current with advancements in the mental health field through continuous professional development, workshops, and training opportunities. The LPC will provide support to a diverse population of clients, ranging from individuals facing anxiety and depression to families experiencing relationship challenges. Specializing in trauma, substance abuse, or couple's therapy will be especially beneficial as we aim to address the various needs of our community members. Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. Valid and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia. Solid understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations related to counseling practice. Proficient in EMR systems and familiar with other relevant software applications. Specialization in trauma-informed care, substance abuse therapy, or family and couples counseling is highly desirable. Health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
