This has helped us expand into new sectors and steadily grow./ph3Job Description/h3pPosition: Sales Assistant/ppDuration: 6+ Months/ppLocation: New York NY/ppPosition Summary:/ppThe Associate Sales Assistant will provide full sales support to one or more Account Managers for pre-sales projects and new business development./ppResponsibilities:/pp Coordinate, execute and manage follow up for all customer pre-sales and sales support needs including sample requests, regulatory and technical documentation, pricing plant trials./pp Handle customer inquiries, provide necessary information and interface with the customer in partnership with the Account Manager./pp Follow up on customer projects and manage communication and status updates with customers./pp Maintain all core supplier agreements, contracts, rebates, and confidentiality agreements./pp Calculate prices, prepare price letters and maintain price files./pp Support account manager with administrative functions including client visits, correspondence and reports. Assist in the preparation of customer presentations./pp Communicate regularly with account managers and internal departments, keeping them informed of customer activity./pp Ensure all required SAP data is accurate and maintained on an ongoing basis./pp Maintain business databases and generate reports, prepare and run reports from iCAM and keep all databases up to date./pp Accurately follow procedures while carrying out job responsibilities./ppProfile:/pp An Associates Degree or equivalent work experience is required; Bachelors degree preferred./pp 3-5 years relevant experience, preferably in sales support, project coordination or customer service./pp Technically savvy with demonstrated ability to learn new systems./pp Experience working with various software applications required. Microsoft office (word, excel, power point) experience is required. Intermediate to advanced level is preferred./pp SAP experience is preferred./pp Excellent organizational skills with the ability to take initiative and manage priorities required./pp Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills./pp Experience managing professional communication with customers./pp Must be a team player with commercial awareness./pp Must be able to work independently with a service-oriented work style./ph3Additional Information/h3pAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines./p/div
