Senior Vice President

Responsibilities Prospect for business based on local networks, connections, and communities. Generate and pursue new client opportunities. Present our services and solutions at prospect meetings. Bring new business prospects to closure. Retain clients by maintaining solid business-to-business relationships. Prospect, identify, develop new clients from referral or cold calling. Educate clients on HUB’s value, service and offerings. Prepare/assist in contracting of clients and any required paperwork. Develop and maintain current knowledge of HUB’s core business partners and their products. Work optimally with team to ensure sales targets are achieved. Work with clients to ensure the optimal coverage is offered, including quoting and/or follow-up. Support clients by providing technical support, product education, etc. Maintain and continual updating of HUB’s client database/regulatory updates. Maintain industry memberships/licenses with regulatory bodies as required. Attend and participate in ongoing education for industry knowledge. Qualifications Independent self-starter who can sell and develop strong B2B relationships. Confident professionals not afraid of cold-calling and developing new business. 3-15 years of business‑to‑business sales experience. Experience selling to a specific industry a plus. Required to obtain appropriate state licensing within 90 days of hire. Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines. Good listening skills and ability to determine clients’ needs efficiently. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Previous insurance experience is an asset. Detail‑oriented with strong communication, interpersonal, multi‑tasking, and organizational skills. Team player with a great attitude, self‑motivation, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Experience and Travel Required Experience: 10–15 years of relevant experience. Required Travel: up to 25%. Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree). Compensation The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 to $400,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. Compensation could include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA, and 401(k) accounts, paid‑time‑off benefits such as vacation, sick, and personal days, and eligible bonuses, equity and commissions for some positions. The compensation for this position is a variable comp structure which could include a draw but is primarily commission based. The draw range for this position is 75% to 80% and could be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, book of business and working location, as well as the specific position’s scope and level.
