New Vitae Wellness and Recovery is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician.

• Conducts repairs on company property in an efficient and workmanlike manner to include carpentry, plumbing, painting and mechanical
• Assists supervisors in identifying current and future maintenance needs
• Watches out for safety and fire hazards and reports them promptly or takes direct action to eliminate them
• Assists other maintenance personnel in maintaining efficient operation of the building, including cleanup, inventory control and tool control
• Plays a major role in the general upkeep of the company property: road maintenance, lawn and field mowing, erosion control and snow removal
• Conducts upkeep for the inside of the building to ensure it remains up to code
• Must be flexible and willing to do new things having to do with minor construction
• Performs maintenance on resident's rooms when needed
• Supports the maintenance system by completing all paperwork, logs, checklist, and forms
• Other duties as assigned by Management

Skills:

• Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting and mechanical
• Ability to interact with employees, public, clients and their families in highly professional manner
• Good judgment and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Highly organized
• Excellent time management, punctuality and reliability required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Emotional stability and personal adjustment to act as a role-model for residents
• Able to lift up to a minimum of 50 pounds

Education Requirement:

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• 1 year experience
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
