Architect - IA07BE Location & Work Schedule Hybrid work schedule with expectation to work in an office (Charlotte, NC, Columbus, OH, or Hartford, CT) 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Responsibilities Design end-to-end solutions for underwriting and risk assessment. Ask "How can AI solve this?" before considering manual or legacy methods. Leverage emerging technologies to create innovative solutions to complex, real-world problems. Partner with data scientists, engineers, and business leaders to translate complex requirements into elegant, scalable architectures. Adhere to best practices for data governance, security, and regulatory compliance. Build modular, cloud-native architectures that adapt to evolving business needs and emerging technologies. Qualifications 5-8 years of hands‑on Solution Architecture experience in an enterprise environment. Strong background in API design, event-driven architectures, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), and microservices architecture. Cloud and AI certifications are a plus. Practical understanding of the capabilities, limitations, and ethical implications of AI. Experience designing AI & Agentic Architectures is a plus. Understanding of Business Insurance processes, risk analysis, and regulatory landscape. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills to influence key stakeholders and lead solution design from concept to deployment. Passion for emerging technologies and their application in real-world business challenges. Authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. Company does not support STEM OPT I-983 endorsement. Compensation The annual base pay range for this role is $131,600 – $197,400.
