Toca Madera is a Mexican‑inspired steakhouse that brings bold flavors, premium ingredients, handcrafted cocktails, and a high‑energy atmosphere together to create unforgettable nights. The Host position is the first impression our guests receive of our brand and is the beginning of providing exceptional guest experiences. The host is the designated point person for seating each section appropriately, managing reservations, and setting appropriate expectations of the guest. The Host is accountable for keeping the host area clean and organized, and providing warm, excellent experiences for our guests as they enter and exit our venue. Responsibilities Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest and client Coordination of seating and dining room flow Answering calls and questions that guests may have on their upcoming reservations Aware and attentive to guests and their special occasions, food restrictions and special accommodations Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety guidelines Proactive and anticipate the needs of coworkers around them that may need Ensuring that side stations are prepped as needed for business demand Build rapport with guests in order to increase repeat clientele Ability to work mornings to do administrative work Qualifications Exhibit strong multitasking abilities Posses a diligent work ethic Maintain a clean and professional appearance Experience in customer service facing roles Available to work nights, weekends and holidays Must be able to stand for the duration of shifts and lift up to 15 lbs Compensation: To be discussed #J-18808-Ljbffr Toca Madera Houston TX
