CNC Operator - Trainable for a mechanically inclined individual

Express Employment Professionals in partnership with a family-owned jewelry design and manufacturing company in the East Metro is seeking a mechanically inclined individual for a CNC Operator. This is a trainable position for the right candidate.

Monday-Friday

$20-$20/hr.

730-4pm Mon-Fri

Evaluation to hire

Job Duties: CNC Operator - Trainable for a mechanically inclined individual

Follow all PPE and safety requirements
Use of two CNC machines to cut and mill various materials and route orders to the next station in an orderly and proficient manner
Swap out materials for cutting such as titanium, aluminum, stainless steel, polycarbonate wax etc.
Use of and editing of pre-existing programs to cut materials to order specifications, use conflict resolution to respond to and correct error codes
Use in house communications to obtain parameters for cutting/milling various rings
Track use of materials to ensure that adequate supply is always on hand
Perform monthly and as-needed maintenance to keep machines running smoothly

Necessary Skills: CNC Operator

Basic understanding of CNC operating programs or machine operation
Basic understanding of machine maintenance
Strong organizational skills
Attention to detail, proficient in the use of calipers and sizing mandrel
Able to stand for extended periods-able to work overtime when required
Adaptable and willing to accept cross training in other departments as needed
