Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown

• Provide expert care for patients with pneumonia, post-op knees, hips, and falls
• Titrate drips including Amiodarone, Heparin, Levo, Cardizem, Dobutamine
• Assume charge nurse duties and small patient assignments as needed
• Read and interpret remote telemetry strips
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown

• Valid state RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum of 1-year PCU or prior ICU experience
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system
