Retail Pharmacy Technician

Performs technical support for all Retail Pharmacy services and will effectively function within all areas of Retail Pharmacy operations. This will include interpreting and entering physician orders / prescriptions, utilizing pharmacy software and point of sale applications, performing insurance billing / crediting functions, managing drug inventory and distribution, being able to problem-solve, communicate effectively with patients and assisting the pharmacist as needed.


Minimum Education

• High School diploma

• Two years recent retail pharmacy experience.

• Vermont State Pharmacy Technician Registration
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).

• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness and ability to utilize personal vehicle for work related travel.
• Demonstrated logic and critical thinking for problem resolution.
• Excellent Customer Service skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks with frequent interruption.
• Detail Oriented.
• Demonstrates moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.
