Job Title: Supply Management Planner II

Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Location: Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526

Duration: 24 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)
Shift: 1st Shift – 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Description:

Job Summary

Manage supplier relationships and purchased-parts delivery to support factory operations. The role focuses on supplier performance, inventory, delivery, cost analysis, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day performance and relationships with assigned suppliers.
• Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance.
• Manage purchased-parts delivery for internal and external suppliers.
• Respond to complex supplier issues and analyze performance.
• Track key supplier management indicators and provide feedback.
• Research cost drivers, market trends, innovations, and alternative suppliers.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor contract performance and provide input for negotiations/renegotiations.
• Manage site/factory inventory and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate stakeholder meetings, actions, and events.
• Maintain knowledge of supply chain practices, regulations, and technology.

Required Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Good typing and computer skills.
• Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Planning and organizing.
• Data collection and analysis.
• Procurement/supply management knowledge.
• Reporting and review skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Business, Supply Management, or related field.
• SAP experience.
• Recent graduates are welcome to apply.

Education

Post-secondary education preferred.
