Job Description Job Description Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) We are currently seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge, leadership skills, and a passion for providing exceptional care to our residents. Responsibilities: Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing operations Support and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality resident care Help maintain compliance with state and federal regulations Monitor clinical documentation and resident assessments Participate in staffing, scheduling, and employee education Assist with infection control, audits, and quality improvement initiatives Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns professionally and promptly Promote a positive team environment focused on resident-centered care Participate in an on-call rotation along side the Director of Nursing to assist with nursing department needs and staffing needs. Work an every-other-weekend floor rotation in the event of staffing call-offs to help ensure resident care needs are met.
