Job Description
Title
Outpatient Oncology Infusion RN

Schedule
Standard schedule: 5x8s, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
Alternative: Will accept 4x9s, 8:00 AM-5:30 PM

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year relevant nursing experience
- Required: Acute care med-surg oncology experience
- Preferred: Outpatient oncology experience with extensive chemotherapy experience
- Required certifications: BLS; ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy certification

Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients during infusion treatments
- Provide central line, PICC, and port care, including blood draws
- Manage infusion pumps and recognize/manage extravasation
- Initiate IV therapy and perform phlebotomy
- Recognize and manage acute oncology complications, such as tumor lysis, sepsis, and spinal cord compression
- Administer blood products as needed

- References: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required during compliance
- Pre-start modules: Estimated 16 hours non-billable, completed pre-start and annually; time self-reported in Workramp
