Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse specializing in Emergency Room (ER) care is sought for a facility located in Plainsboro, New Jersey. The position involves night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, working every other weekend. The role requires experience working across all patient populations, including pediatric patients, as well as flexibility to work during one winter and one summer holiday. Candidates must hold a valid Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, and have received the influenza vaccine. A New Jersey or Compact license is required at the time of application. The position begins on 09/01/2026 and requires a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week, working every other weekend
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, flu vaccination; NJ or Compact license; BSN degree; experience working across all patient populations including pediatrics; 3 years of relevant ICU or ER experience; located in NJ or willing to licensure in NJ; minimum 0 years of experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in diverse populations including pediatric patients; flexible holiday availability
• Additional Information: Orientation is scheduled for 09/01. The position is part of a local contract program for nursing staff. Candidates must demonstrate experience working in fast-paced emergency settings and meet all clinical qualifications.
