JOB SUMMARY

Our client is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the overall operations of a design-focused logistics company. This position has full responsibility for profit and loss performance, operational execution, and team leadership.

The General Manager will oversee daily logistics, warehousing, transportation, white-glove delivery, and specialty installation services while ensuring an exceptional client experience for luxury residential projects. This role requires strong leadership, operational strategy, financial management, and relationship-building skills to drive efficiency, service excellence, and profitability while partnering closely with interior designers, architects, vendors, and high-end residential clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage daily operations with full profit and loss (P&L) accountability.

• Oversee logistics, warehousing, transportation, and white-glove delivery operations.

• Manage, mentor, and develop operations, installation, and administrative teams.

• Coordinate specialty installation projects, including artwork, furnishings, and custom design elements.

• Oversee luxury residential relocation services to ensure a seamless, high-end customer experience.

• Partner with interior designers, architects, vendors, and luxury residential clients to deliver exceptional service.

• Develop and implement operational strategies that improve efficiency, safety, and profitability.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, designers, and high-end clientele.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality service standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven leadership experience as a General Manager, Operations Director, or similar executive leadership role.

• Experience in interior design logistics, white-glove delivery, specialty installation, luxury relocation services, or a related industry.

• Demonstrated success managing profit and loss (P&L) and overall operational performance.

• Strong operational, financial, and organizational management skills.

• Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship management skills.

• Experience working with high-end residential clients or within the luxury design industry is highly preferred.
