Experience: 2 years of recent Operating Room experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist. Must have experience scrubbing a variety of surgical specialties. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment is necessary.

License: DORA required

Certifications: BLS AHA

Description: This position requires a Certified Surgical Technologist who will work in the main operating room. The surgical services provided include Orthopedics, General Surgery, ENT, Robotics, Urology, GYN, C-Section, Endoscopy, and Trauma. Candidates should have experience with various surgical specialties. On-call duties may be required based on the unit's needs. Weekend coverage will also be required as per the unit's needs. Candidates can expect an engaging and challenging environment that necessitates quick thinking and adaptability. Travelers must check for housing options in the area prior to submission, as cost can be a factor. Maximum of 10 days of requested time off (RTO) is permitted during the contract. RTO requests will not be approved during specified time periods, with potential flexibility for positions that are harder to fill. All candidates must be cleared of any previous employment restrictions within the health system. Completion of mandatory training modules is required as part of the onboarding process.
