Plant Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES Candidate will learn: · Plans, directs and coordinates the operations of all production departments. · Responsible to determine the workforce required to accomplish production goals and deadlines. · Sets priorities for production schedules based on sales, equipment efficiency and material supplies. · Responsible for reviewing orders and setting the production schedules. · Responsible to follow the progression of production, respond to related production problems and implement remedies to such problems. · Identify manufacturing process and procedural problems. · Responsible for costs, methods, operations, quality and quantity of production. · Give direction in regard to subordinate supervisors in the company. · Assume complete responsibility for meeting or exceeding all established goals of production and shipping. · Responsible to help establish budgets for all departments reporting to this position. · Responsible to meet or exceed established budgets and decisions relating to these budgets for all departments reporting to this position. · Maintain a review of schedules, methods, standards or other production factors and make effective recommendations for changes to improve quality and reduce cost. · Directs the work efforts of all job titles reporting to this position. · Carry out the intent of Rich Industries Inc. evaluation and appraisal systems. · Carry out the intent of the Rich Industries Inc. Handbook as it relates to all employees reporting directly or indirectly to this position. · Responsible to maintain confidentiality. · Responsible for any other tasks as assigned by the President or Vice President. \nCompany Description Our company has been in business for over 50 years, manufacturing protective equipment for mainly nuclear facilities.
