HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/24/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN - PRE/POST OP - SDS - Cost Center (786) - 6:00AM - 6:00PM, 3 x 12 hour shifts Parkridge Medical Center Chattanooga, TN 37404 NO WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS, excellent teamwork on unit. Unit: Preop holding/Day Surgery Unit Specifics: Number of Beds : 472 Patient Ratios : Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : US and Tech on staff in DS Type of equipment : Cardiac monitors, ultrasound, EKG machine Documentation system: Meditech Scheduling requirements: 3-12 hr shifts. Would consider 4-10 hr shifts. One closing day per week (stay until unit closes). Shift starts @ 5, 5:30, 6, 6:30 or 7 depending on surgery schedule. It will usually be 5:30 am unless it is day to close. Closing days schedule is 7:00 am until when last patient leaves. Pays time and ½ stay after 7:00pm on closing day. Floating policy: Will only work in Day Surgery and Preop holding Patient Experience requirements: Experience getting surgical patients ready for surgery and providing phase 2 recovery.
