Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Belfast, Maine. This position involves providing circulating nursing care in a surgical setting within a critical access facility. The role requires involvement in endoscopy, general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, ENT, and urology cases, with a focus on patient safety and surgical support.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 9 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 08/31/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. A minimum of 2 years of operating room experience is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Scrub experience is preferred but not required.
• Additional Information: The position involves rotating call shifts, including on-call hours beginning Friday at 4:15 pm until Monday at 6:45 am, with rotating holiday call. The environment utilizes equipment such as Stryker, Storz, and Steris, with electronic medical records managed via EPIC. The unit comprises 3 operating rooms and 2 procedure rooms, with a patient ratio of 1:1.
