Telemetry Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse in the Telemetry specialty provides specialized nursing care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring and assessment. They collaborate with physicians to deliver individualized patient care, ensuring safety and compliance with clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ condition through ongoing monitoring and clinical evaluation.
• Implement and document nursing interventions based on patient needs and physician directives.
• Develop, update, and coordinate individualized care plans tailored to telemetry patients.
• Perform therapeutic procedures and manage patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Advocate for evidence-based practices, supporting innovations for optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure accurate documentation of care, responses, and clinical data.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry nursing experience.
• Possess an ASN from an accredited nursing program.
• Maintain a valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
• Have current BLS (AHA), NIHSS, ACLS, and Tele Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam.
• Demonstrate strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
