Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 years of Pediatric Respiratory Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• 12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Cross Country Program - Children’s Hospital Colorado.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Minimum 3 years Pediatric ICU. - Minimum 3 years Neonatal ICU. - Minimum 1 year Pediatric Level 1 Trauma.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Minimum 4 years Pediatric ICU. - Minimum 4 years Neonatal ICU. - Minimum 2 years Pediatric Level 1 Trauma.

Special Requests: - RTO blackout dates: 09/13-09/19, 10/25-11/01, 11/22-11/28. - No RTO approved within the first two weeks of the assignment.

Shift & Scheduling: - 13 weekend shifts out of 26. - No call. - Must work Thanksgiving holiday: 11/25, 11/26, and 11/27. - Must be available to work 2 of the 3 holidays. - Observed holidays must be worked if they fall within the contract period. - No more than 4 RTO dates during the contract.

Floating Requirements: - Float to Anschutz and Network of Care (North or South). - May be floated or reassigned to other areas of practice within clinical competence.

4 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 01/18/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027, 09/05/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 0. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
